The cut.
Editing is how I think about filmmaking. Color, sound, graphics and finishing are extensions of the same job.
Post is where I live.
Editing is the center of the post work, but the goal is always the same: protect the story and finish the thing properly.
Editing
Narrative features, series, comedy and drama. Structure, performance, rhythm, coverage triage and the process of discovering the version of the film that actually works.
Color
Color correction and creative grading with an emphasis on continuity, skin tone and making modestly produced material feel intentional.
Sound
Dialogue cleanup, sound editorial, sound design and mixing, including final mixes for film projects.
Graphics + Finishing
Titles, screen replacements, visual cleanup, deliverables and the thousand unglamorous details between picture lock and a finished master.
Directing and editing are not separate brains for me. Cutting has shaped how I cover scenes, how I listen to performances, and how I decide what is actually necessary on set.
Knowing what post can fix, and what it absolutely cannot, also makes me a more practical director.
